The beginning of the year brought us new resolutions, a new office, and another Bulldog 100 Nomination! Out of 800 applications, J House Media was chosen for one of the 100 spots on the prestigious list, which celebrates the fastest growing businesses owned or operated by University of Georgia Alumni from all over the US. Last year, J House ranked 35th on the list and this year, was honored to be invited back. Accepting the nomination were friends and former UGA students Jeremy Minnick and Jason Long.
J House was excited and honored to have received yet another nomination and to be among the most successful UGA Alum-run companies. Among the nominees were several J House clients, such as Bone Dry Roofing Company, Phillip Blount and Associates, and Ginger Howard Selections.
Minnick acknowledged the award saying, “It’s exciting that we placed again. You go about your day to day, making sure to keep everything moving and then you find out someone else noticed what you’ve done. The Alumni Association has done a great job to highlight what would otherwise have gone unnoticed by our peers.” Long echoed the sentiment, “We were so delighted to be a part of the Bulldog 100 again this year! It is such an honor to be recognized with this group of amazing business owners.”
In order for a business to qualify, the UGA grad must have the title of CEO, President, or Managing Partner in the nominated business. Other requirements include having been in business at least five years and having revenues of $100,000 or more. J House was honored in a reception and awards dinner on January 21st in the Marquis Ballroom at the Atlanta Marriott Hotel, where keynote speaker and former Today Show host Deborah Norville, spoke.
